Mastering Treatment of Vascular Lesions with Dr. Lina Vargas

Join Dr. Lina Vargas and the team at Erasable Med Spa for a unique workshop, focused on mastering treatment of vascular lesions. The course will focus on treating common and difficult to treat vascularities with the Sciton ClearV® laser, Sciton BBL HERO/HEROic system, and traditional sclerotherapy. This course will include: lecture, demonstrations by Dr. Vargas, and an opportunity for 2 students to do hands on treatments at the end. Dr. Vargas will discuss:
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Laser Physics
- Treatment Techniques with ClearV (1064 Nd:YAG) and BBL (IPL)
- Principles of Sclerotherapy and Treatment Techniques
- When Not to Treat and Refer to a Vascular Surgeon
If you have been struggling with getting best results with your laser/light based systems and want to learn additional techniques using sclerotherapy, this course is for you!
About Dr. Lina Vargas
Dr. Lina M. Vargas is a board-certified vascular surgeon, international speaker, and educator whose career spans prestigious surgical training at the Cleveland Clinic and a master’s degree in aesthetics, anti-aging, and regenerative medicine from Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain.
As the founder of Lumina Vein & Aesthetic Institute in Windermere, Florida, she has spent her career sitting at the intersection of medicine and aesthetics, treating patients with the precision of a surgeon and the warmth of someone who genuinely cares about the whole picture.
Dr. Vargas is a national and international educator and key opinion leader, having presented at conferences across the United States, Latin America, Asia, and Australia. She is a recognized Luminary physician with Sciton, an academic centre and educator with BTL, and a speaker and educator for Varithena and BD. As the only female board-certified vascular surgeon in the Greater Orlando area specializing in vein care, she brings a level of clinical depth to the treatment of venous disease, spider veins, reticular veins, and vascular lesions, including with ClearV laser and sclerotherapy, that is rooted in truly understanding the vascular system from the inside out.
Her approach is grounded in one belief: that real results come from treating root causes, not just surfaces, and that every patient deserves a long-term plan delivered with transparency, expertise, and care.

How do I redeem Sciton Success Builder points for the course?
Please send an email to loretta@erasablemedspa.com with your name, the practice name and a request to use Sciton Success Builder points. We will contact Sciton HQ, confirm availability of points, and send you a code to use to sign up.

What should I bring to the course?
Breakfast, lunch and coffee will be provided during the course. Those who are performing hands-on should a copy of their license and ensure that they are authorized to perform treatments in the state of Florida and operating within their scope of practice.

What do I wear to the course?
Bring a light sweater or jacket as it tends to get cold in the classroom.

What happens if I cannot attend?
Because this is a limited event that will sell out quickly, there are no refunds. Organizers will do their best to accommodate for extenuating circumstances on a case by case basis.

How do I reserve a hands on spot?
Sign up for the observer seat and send an email to loretta@erasablemedspa.com stating you have purchased a regular seat and would like to do hands on.
