Most business training in aesthetics is theory dressed up as advice. Someone who read a book tells you what you should do. We built a multi-million dollar practice over 12 years of consecutive double-digit growth, and we’ll show you exactly how we did it.
The Aesthetic Institute Business Preceptorship is a one-day, hands-on program at Erasable Med Spa in Tampa. You’ll walk our 5,200-square-foot facility, sit inside our operations, and leave with the same tools and frameworks we use to run the business every day.
This program is led by Michael Zanetti, a U.S. Army combat veteran who brought military operational frameworks into aesthetic practice management.

The Methodology
How We Train Business Owners
The aesthetics industry teaches providers how to inject, how to operate devices, how to treat skin. Most owners figure out the business side through trial, error, and borrowed ideas. We teach operational frameworks built on over a decade of real data, borrowed from a place where execution isn’t optional: the U.S. Army.
Commander's Intent — Know What "Right" Looks Like
In the Army, every operations order starts with Commander’s Intent: 2 or 3 sentences that describe what success looks like. Not the step-by-step plan. The end state.
Plans fall apart. Markets shift. Staff turns over. Promotions flop. If your team only knows the playbook, they freeze the moment something changes. If they understand the intent (what the patient experience should feel like, what your standard of care looks like, what you won’t compromise on) they can adapt without waiting for you to make every decision.
Most owners we work with are drowning in operational decisions their teams should be making without them. The fix isn’t more SOPs. It’s clearer intent.
Force Multipliers — Build the Team That Builds the Business
The Army calls it a force multiplier: an asset that increases a unit’s effectiveness far beyond its size. A single well-trained squad with clear roles will outperform a platoon of people who don’t know who does what.
Your coordinator shouldn’t just be scheduling appointments. She should be reading patients, identifying opportunities based on their concerns, and catching post-procedure anxiety before it becomes a 1-star review. Your practice manager shouldn’t just balance the books. She should be watching patient flow, spotting bottlenecks, and clearing the path so providers can do what only they can do.
When you treat people like replaceable parts, they act like replaceable parts. When you give them real ownership and the training to back it up, you get force multipliers.
Azimuth Checks — Measure What Matters, Fix What's Broken
An azimuth is a compass direction. In the field, you stop periodically to check your azimuth and confirm you’re still headed the right way. Small corrections early prevent you from ending up miles off course.
Running a med spa without KPIs is flying without instruments. You might feel like things are going well, but you have no way to confirm it. By the time you notice a problem, you’ve already lost altitude.
The practices that struggle most operate blind. They don’t know their numbers until the cash flow problems become impossible to ignore.
See One, Do One, Teach One — Walk the Floor
The Army training model is structured and relentless: see one, do one, teach one. You watch someone perform the task. You perform it yourself, supervised. Then you teach it. By the time you’ve taught it, you own it.
This preceptorship follows that model. You won’t just hear about how we run Erasable. You’ll tour our facility and see exactly how the frameworks translate from whiteboard to treatment room to front desk.
8 hours. No fluff. You’ll leave with a clear operational picture of how a practice that’s grown for 12 consecutive years actually runs day to day.
